Scope of Project:
After renovating and restoring the
Westside
Junior High School building in 2003, Vanadis Investment Group had the opportunity to act as the developer for the restoration of the Westside Junior High School Auditorium. Built in 1917 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Auditorium was given a new life in 2004 when it was converted office and outpatient clinic space. The
University of
Arkansas for Medical Science’s Department of Pediatrics now operates the
Dennis
Development
Center from this building.
Vanadis Investment Group served as turn-key developer for this unique project, providing consulting services on the conceptual design, financial packaging and overall project management.
Result:
Westside Campus encompasses approximately 30,000 square feet of clinic, office and support staff space for more than 40 physicians, staff and technical support personnel. The campus also serves as an anchor for the south edge of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital campus.
