School started as an 1895
Romanesque
Revival
School building. The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was constructed of granite and brick. It was a priceless structure already. Vanadis Investment Group stepped up to the challenge of transforming this empty 38,000 square foot historic gem into a buzzing residential development targeted to area artists and their families.
Result: Vanadis Investment Group led this $3.5 million project that resulted in the creation of 22 new residential units near the
Arkansas
Arts
Center in
Little Rock. The Kramer School Development, dedicated in November 1997, was an instant success and has become an icon for preservation efforts across the state of
Arkansas.
